What a day! With over 300 walkers and 24 teams participating we raised a whopping $36,000.
Our friends from Cargill raised $10,729 and were the #1 fundraising team. They created and sold cookbooks, had a red ribbon jeans week for a $5 donation, a taco salad lunch and solicited sponsorships for their walkers. Go TEAM CARGILL!
Last year’s top team First MCC Faith Walkers also held the bar high this year raising $3,300. They walked in honor of their former teammate Ric Tribue.
The team from the East High Gay Straight Alliance held bake sales
throughout the year and brought in $800. That’s a lot of cupcakes and cookies!
Side Street held a Retro Review show to benefit the walk. The tips
from the performers along with raffle tickets sales added up to $2,000.

You can walk as an individual or as part of a team. No matter which way you choose, you’ll finish the AIDSwalk with a sense of personal accomplishment and the satisfaction of knowing you madea step in the right direction. You will have a great time after the walk enjoying the prozes, entertainment, food and drink.
The Day of the Walk Registration begins at 10 am
Register in person the day of the walk. Bring your sponsor form and money to the event. Registration fee is $20 per person (fee waived with $20 or more in sponsorship).
